Fit Path is a two-session complimentary orientation to the Y. It is an individualized wellness plan designed to help members set and achieve their short-term fitness goals. Contact the front desk of the YMCA to register for your Fit Path appointment.

FIT PATH

Fit Path is a free orientation to the Y. You meet with a staff member who can give you a tour, show you how to use our reservation portal, help you download the phone app, show you how to use certain machines and answer your questions about the Y.


Fit Path is a two-session complimentary orientation to the Y. It is an individualized wellness plan designed to help members set and achieve their short-term fitness goals, and eventually transform their goals into positive long-term lifestyle changes. 

 

Fit Path overview:

  • Members meet with a Y staff member one-on-one for 30 minutes.
  • Y Staff help identify your goals and answer any facility or wellness related questions.
  • Y Staff connect members to programs and services that will help maximize your success.
  • Y Staff teach proper technique, showing you how to properly adjust machines, review gym etiquette and overview general exercise information.


Need a little more instruction and motivation? No problem, we’ve got a solution. The YMCA of the Capital Area offers our members more robust Personal Training packages to assist you on your journey to wellness. To schedule a Fit Path or personal training appointment, please visit your local YMCA.
