YMCA Youth Sports Leagues are designed for children of all ages and stress development of skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive competition in a fun environment. All participants will play equal amounts of time during the games and will be given the opportunity to play at all different positions throughout the course of the season.
YMCA Volleyball combines coordination and sports education to inspire children to achieve mentally, physically and socially. In volleyball children will develop their volleyball skills while at the same time learn to play as a team, and have a fun time. Players are taught volleyball fundamentals and given the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in games. Knee pads required.

Registration for spring volleyball: February 6- March 7
Practice begins the week of March 20
Season ends May 20
This sport is for boys and girls ages 9 to 13 years old. The children are grouped together in divisions that are broken down into 2-year increments.
Program Participants: $100
Games are held during the week and on Saturdays for length of eight weeks.
Practices are usually held a minimum of once per week up to a maximum of twice per week. Practices are determined by the coaches and are usually held during the week in the evenings between 5:00-8:00 p.m.
We are always looking for energetic moms and dads to be volunteer coaches and help the Y develops healthy confident youth. Please inform the program director if you wish to be a volunteer coach.
Participants must have knee pads, athletic shoes and shorts. The YMCA will provide jerseys and all other equipment.
