YMCA soccer leagues offer a safe and productive environment for your child to learn the fundamentals of soccer as well as the importance of teamwork. Children will have an opportunity to play the game from different positions during the course of the season. Equal playing time, sportsmanship, and fun are emphasized. A good pair of athletics shoes or cleats and shin guards are required.

Registration for the spring outdoor soccer league is February 6- March 7
Practice begins week of March 20

This sport is for boys and girls ages 3 to 17 years old. The children are grouped together in divisions that are broken down into 2-year increments.
3-4 year old sports are instructional clinics that introduce children to a sport and prepare them to play at the league level.
Age limits may vary by branch, so check with your local YMCA for league details.
Program Participants: $100
Games are held during the week and on Saturdays for length of eight weeks.
Game times will vary by location.
Some travel to another Y location for games can be expected.
Practices are usually held a minimum of once per week up to a maximum of twice per week. Practices are determined by the coaches and are usually held during the week in the evenings between 5:00-8:00 p.m.
We are always looking for energetic moms and dads to be volunteer coaches and help the Y develop healthy confident youth. Please inform the program director if you wish to be a volunteer coach.
Athletic shoes and shorts are required. Shin guards are recommended. Children are not allowed to wear jeans. The YMCA will provide jerseys and all other equipment.
