YMCA Youth Sports Leagues are designed for children of all ages and stress development of skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive competition in a fun environment. All participants will play equal amounts of time during the games and will have the opportunity to play at all different positions throughout the season.
YMCA flag football is a recreational program designed for youth new to the sport of football and for those not quite ready for tackle football. Flag Football teaches children how to play the sport of football while demonstrating rules, tactics and skills through fun filled games and practices. We focus on football education, participation and sportsmanship. Mouth guard and cleats are required.

This sport is for boys and girls as young as 5 years old up to 12 years of age. The children are grouped together in divisions that are broken down into 2-year increments. Ages may vary by branch, so check with your local YMCA for league details.
Program Participants: $100
Games are held during the week and on Saturdays.
Game times will vary.
Some travel to other Y location for games can be expected.
Practices are usually held a minimum of once per week up to a maximum of twice per week. Practices times are set by the volunteer coaches and are usually held during the week on weeknights between 5:00-8:00 p.m or immediately before the games.
We are always looking for energetic moms and dads to be volunteer coaches and help the Y develops healthy confident youth. Please inform the program director if you wish to be a volunteer coach.
Mouth guards, athletic shoes and shorts/pants are required. Children are not allowed to wear jeans. All other equipment is provided by the YMCA.
